Hamlin Leads Odds for Texas Würth 400
Denny Hamlin enters as the betting favorite at +400 odds for the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 3. The race airs at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1. Carson Hocevar sits sixth in the odds at +1100 after claiming his first NASCAR Cup Series victory last week at Talladega.
A massive wreck at Talladega eliminated several contenders and handed Hocevar the win. Hamlin led 28 laps there before finishing 15th. The latest DraftKings Sportsbook odds reflect early favorites ahead of the 1.5-mile intermediate track event.
Hamlin has won this season at Las Vegas, led 603 laps overall and holds second in the driver standings. He completed only 73 laps in last year's Würth 400 before a power loss sparked a fire in his car. Top odds challengers include Tyler Reddick (+550), Kyle Larson (+650), Christopher Bell (+900) and Ryan Blaney (+1000), with Hocevar and William Byron both at +1100.
Hocevar jumped to eighth in recent power rankings after Talladega. He finished 24th in last year's Texas race but started from the pole in 2025 with a lap at 191.659 mph. Longer odds range from Joey Logano and Chase Elliott at +1400 to several drivers at +20000 or worse.
