Maclin and Grace Released as TNA Wrestling Cuts Roster
TNA Wrestling has released Steve Maclin and Myla Grace, the promotion announced Sunday in a statement posted to its official website. Both departures are effective immediately. Maclin confirmed he had requested his own release, while Grace had not publicly commented as of the announcement.
Maclin joined TNA in 2021 and became one of the promotion's more prominent performers during his tenure. He was a two-time TNA International Champion and a former Impact World Champion. His final programme with the company centred on a rivalry with TNA World Champion Mike Santana - a feud that included an injury angle and a storyline dismissal before his return to competition. He lost to Santana in his last televised match. "Last week I requested my release from TNA," Maclin wrote on X. "I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything I've done over the last 5 years and I'll always be thankful for my time there. But now, it's time to STACK BODIES. See you soon."
Grace, a professional wrestler from Northern Ireland, joined TNA in June 2025, debuting on the pre-show of the Against All Odds event alongside Xia Brookside and Harley Hudson. She competed in a limited number of singles and tag team bouts during her time with the promotion and did not hold a championship. Her final appearance came at a March taping, where she lost to Elayna Black, and she had not been featured by the company since that date.
TNA's statement offered no explanation for either release beyond standard language. "TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Steve Maclin and Myla Grace, effective immediately. We wish them the best in their future endeavors," the company said. Maclin's public statement signals an intention to return to active competition, though no future booking has been confirmed.
